SPDS has four geographic groups that cover all council areas in Scotland. These groups provide an opportunity for information sharing, networking and discussions about issues arising for members as HROD practitioners in local government.
SPDS has four geographic groups that cover all council areas in Scotland. These groups provide an opportunity for information sharing, networking and discussions about issues arising for members as HROD practitioners in local government.
They are coordinated by a Secretary who sits on the Executive and meet on a regular basis, normally online. Geographic Groups are a great introductory forum for SPDS members to meet colleagues in neighbouring authorities, build networks and find out more about what’s happening across the wider SPDS community.
Our geographic groups are open to all SPDS members to attend and take part in. When you join SPDS, the secretariat will send your contact details to your local geographic group secretary who will contact you to invite you to join your local group.
